A pro-Israel or Pro-US policy means that one state gives respect to the other state's national and strategically interests. You don't have to bring examples in front of us because no one here knows what really goes between both. Your examples, sure being interpreted by the officials by taking into account all information and interests concern.

Not the perception that the United States is at war with Islam leaves Israel dangerously exposed on the front lines, but the very true that some Islam extremists do strife to annihilate Israel (for example: Iran, Hizballah, Hamas).

A pro-Israel, pro-US, and pro-West policy means preventing Iran from getting operational nuclear weaponry and that should be done by all means… talks, embargo and even attacking Iran's nuclear site list.

As far as concerning the Arab Palestinian issue I think that the US is acting properly by not pushing Israel to give further concessions to the Arabs. They proved to be rather not reliable factor in the conflict and they don't yet prepare to be a "nation" and create a new state. The more certain resolution to the conflict is creating just 2 states and not 3 or 4, in historical Palestine.
In short, Jordan (65% of Palestine) should be an Arab Palestinian state (which she is already by 80% Palestinians and by acceptance all the refugees' descendants in Jordan they will be about 98% of the population). Israel should be the states of the Jews. The border between both should be the Jordan River. All citizens will stay at their place continuing their personal life where they situate and dwell. All the Arabs living in both states will vote to their national Parliament in Amman, and all the Jews living at both states will vote to the Knesset in Jerusalem. That situation leaves out the burden of demography that threatens the Jews future capacity to keep Israel as a Jewish state.
